About Midlife Monologues™

Midlife Monologues™ is a multi-genre arts showcase exploring and celebrating the arc of a woman’s life. Bold, poignant, and powerful, the groundbreaking show defies categories– part play, part pep-rally, part rock concert, fully revelatory. It brought audiences to their feet with three sold out shows and critical acclaim from the press.

Inspired by the mantra, “you tell me your story, and somehow, I get mine,” Kerri Devine created Midlife Monologues in 2023 as a celebration of women’s resilience and rebirth. The initial Charleston production struck a deep chord, leading Devine to turn up the wattage, elevating it to a blockbuster event (live and live-streamed) reaching more than 1,000 women across three generations in Charleston, the US and in cities around the world. The March 2025 show, directed by Sharon Graci of PURE Theatre, featured a starry cast of award-winning authors, actors, singers, and artists. Support went to postpartum mental health and menopause education.

Midlife Monologues will continue as a new, original production under the leadership of Emmy-nominated actor and director, Constance Zimmer and award-winning documentary filmmaker, Abby Epstein. Devine joins the Midlife Monologues creative community as a producer. ‘The Midlife Monologues’ will debut in NY and LA, amplifying midlife stories for women everywhere.
